Nashville songwriter/producer Keith Ridenour's musical success crosses a myriad of genres. His songs have been recorded by country artists such as chart-toppers Heartland "Let's Get Dirty", Nathan Lee Jackson "Pay Me With Kisses", "Small Town Rain" and Carolina, and Skye Moore "Rock Me Country", "Livin' Out Loud", "Whole Lotta Honey" & "Tip Of My Tongue". Rock & Roll child prodigies HWY 535's "Turn It Up" and songs "Love Like This" & "Everyday Lover" with R & B songstress Torsha Lynn (wife of San Diego Charger superstar Ladamian Tomlinson). Keith's songs "Honor Is Ours" & "Wow!" are featured in the new Threshhold Animated Pictures release FOODFIGHT, which he also co-produced. Currently on stage his songs "Cuba Sounds Good" and "Crying In The Rain" are in the play Five Women In Havanna. His latest production credits include Rock-Blues phenom J.D. Danner, and pop rocker Roxanne Lamendola. Keith is writing and producing, country, rock, and pop songs for a variety of artists and labels.

Born in Newark New Jersey, Keith and his family moved to Pompano Beach Fla. while he was very young. He and his brother, drummer Randy Ridenour, formed the popular band Black Watch before they were in high school, and had continued success for more than a decade. He made his first record when he was seventeen years old, "Hot Summer Days", on the Cats Eye label. Keith's performing career continued with sophisticated Southern rockers Harvest and the harder rocking Razor Red. Influenced by The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Jerry Reed and Eric Clapton, he acquired the nickname "Swamp Daddy", which has followed him to this day.

In 1993, he built Ridenour Recording and Rehearsal Studios in Fort Lauderdale Florida. It fast became the hot spot for thousands of musicians in the Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. The still-thriving facility had 6 fully equipped rehearsal rooms, 2 recording studios, a full soundstage, a guitar repair shop, electronics repair shop, and horn repair shop. Clients like Ricky Martin, Steve Winwood, Peter Frampton and Foreigner used Keith's soundstage for rehearsing as well as 85 – 100 local bands per week, who rehearse in the other 6 rooms.

After years of writing and pitching his songs for various artists and projects in South Florida, Keith and his family moved to Nashville in June of 2003 to pursue his songwriting career full-time. Since moving to Nashville, Keith has had the opportunity to write with many great writers, including Bud Tower, Monty Holmes, Walt Aldridge, Anthony Little, Richie Supa, T.W. Hale, Kris Bergsness, Nathan Jackson, John Lemonis, Angie Thompson, Dennis Blischak, Doug Shawe, Scott Avery, Dean Madonia, Michel Dukes, Jenny Brooks, J.D. Danner, Roxanne Lamendola and Michael Garvin. Always a whirlwind of activity, you can check out Keith's recent songs by clicking on the Demos link below.
